The types
There are soft cases, hard cases, and duffle bags, and each has a place. Soft cases (Evoc is the popular one; Dakine and Thule also make nice ones) are light and pack down. Hard cases (mainly Thule and PBK for mountain bikes) protect best but weigh more.
