The Itinerary
Arrival Day
Airport pickup in Guatemala City and transfer to your hotel in Antigua, then a meet-and-greet with your guides and fellow riders.
La Carmona — Guate bike park heaven
Shuttle to 2,500 m above a coffee plantation with 50 km of purpose-built singletrack, then descend — 20 km / 12 mi and 5,000 ft of descent, with a picnic lunch on the hill.
Jump day at La Carmona
A full day of jumps and volcanic loam on the slopes of Volcán de Agua — 20 km / 12 mi and 5,000 ft down — then a local chocolate workshop to taste Guatemalan cacao.
Travel to Lago Atitlán and Guatemala's best enduro trail
Climb to nearly 3,000 m for the Slick Rock Trail, past a sacred Mayan ceremonial site, on rocky technical singletrack through pine forest — 9,000 ft of descent down to Lake Atitlán.
Cultural day at Lago Atitlán
A free day in San Juan La Laguna — kayaks and paddleboards, the village and its artists, or just the lake.
Time travel on Lake Atitlán (steeps & tech)
Two shuttle runs on the eastern rim, both on centuries-old Mayan trade routes with an almost Inca-trail feel — 28 km / 17 mi and 5,200 ft of descent.
Back to Antigua via Tecpán
Ride singletrack that dates back thousands of years to the Tecpán ruins, two hours exploring the site, then the Caracol Trail after lunch — 28 km / 17 mi.
Local favourite lunch laps in Antigua
The foothills of Volcán de Agua are webbed with trails through corn farms, fruit orchards and coffee plantations. Two long flowy laps, lunch, then one more.
One last day of jumps at La Carmona
A final ride day on the coffee-plantation trails — 20 km / 13 mi and 4,600 ft of descent — finishing with a farewell dinner with the whole crew.
Departure
Last-minute shopping in Antigua, bikes packed, and a transfer to the airport with the 2Wheel team.
