Good to know

How does booking work?+
Use the Book now link on your trip page to choose your departure, enter your rider details, and pay through WeTravel. For custom trips or questions about fitness, dates, or logistics, send us an inquiry and we'll help you plan.
What's the deposit?+
A deposit holds your spot on a departure (groups are small, so spots are real). It comes off your total, and the balance is due before the trip. You'll see the exact amount and the full payment schedule on your WeTravel booking page before you pay a cent. Questions on timing? Just ask — we're humans.
Can I bring my own bike?+
Absolutely, and most riders do — an enduro or trail bike with 150mm+ of travel is the sweet spot for our terrain. Bikes and gear aren't included in any trip price, and rental availability needs to be confirmed for your trip — on Costa Rica it isn't available at all. Plan on bringing your own, and ask us if you're stuck.
What's included?+
Hand-picked local lodging, trail-side breakfasts and lunches, professional local guides, all shuttles, transfers and luggage transport, and entrance fees for the listed activities. Not included: international flights, travel insurance, bikes and bike gear, dinners, and guide tips. Every trip page lists the full breakdown.
Do I need travel insurance?+
Yes — it's required. We ask that every rider carries travel and medical insurance that covers mountain biking and emergency evacuation. It's cheap peace of mind for a backcountry trip, and we'll point you to providers that work well for this kind of riding when you book.
